Do you ship internationally?

No, we recommend shopping at Amazon for our products if you are an international customer. We cannot guarantee safe delivery on their behalf, but their success rate with international deliveries is very high.

Do you sell Sip Herbals Coffee Substitute in stores?

Is your product organic?

We include organic dandelion, organic chicory, organic carob, and organic ginger in our products. While we would like to have official organic certification, it can be quite expensive, especially for a startup like ours. However, please rest assured that we are committed to using organic ingredients wherever possible. We proudly list these organic ingredients on our label for your convenience.

Do your products contain sugar?

Yes, we do have two products that contain sugar. The Salted Maple Blondie includes date sugar and maple sugar, with 1g of sugar per serving. The Cinnamon Roll product contains coconut sugar, also with 1g of sugar per serving.

Is Sip Herbals Coffee Substitute safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Are you Mold and Toxin-Free?

• Our herbs undergo a meticulous roasting process, which includes exposure to extreme heat at 500°F for half an hour. This roasting method is highly effective in destroying trichothecene mycotoxins and ensuring the safety of our products.

Is Sip Herbals Coffee Substitute safe for children?

Sip Herbals coffee substitute is a gentle, nourishing blend of just 3 simple ingredients: Dandelion, chicory, and carob. It is safe for most people, most of the time. Because these are whole-herbs and not potentized extracts it should be fine for children. Since nothing is one-size-fits-all and you know your children best if you choose to share Sip  herbal coffee substitute with your children, keep the dosage small and age-appropriate.

Can I drink more than 1 cup in a day?

Since Sip Herbals Coffee Substitute has no stimulants, you can totally enjoy more than one cup a day.

Is Sip Herbals Coffee Substitute gluten-free?

Yes! Sip Herbals Coffee Substitute is made of simple ingredients and never contains gluten or any ingredients derived from gluten. Our batches are regularly tested to be sure that they are never gluten contaminated.

How much caffeine is in Sip?

All of our blends are caffeine-free and contain no stimulants.

Will this keep me awake if I drink it at night?

Since Sip Herbals Coffee Substitute is naturally caffeine-free, it shouldn’t keep you from getting a good night’s sleep.

Where do you source your herbs?

Our chicory, carob, and dandelion are certified organic by CCOF and are tested for heavy metals and other possible contaminants. We source our organic roasted chicory from India, our organic carob from Virginia and our organic dandelion from Asia.

Can I brew Sip Herbals Coffee Substitute in a Keurig?

Yes! Our herbal coffee is compatible with Keurig machines using a reusable K-cup.

Can I brew Sip a 2nd time?

Heck yes! Just add a little more fresh dry Sip Herbals Coffee Substitute to the used herbs and brew for longer the second time. We recommend using ¼ of the original amount of herbal coffee substitute you used (so if you brewed a full French press with 4 tbsp, add 1 tbsp fresh dry herbal coffee substitute to the spent herbs).

And be sure to compost the grounds afterward! Plants love them.

Can I cold-brew Sip Herbals Coffee Substitute?

Yes, Sip Herbals can be cold brewed. Cold brewing is a great way to extract the flavor and benefits from herbs without using hot water, which can sometimes cause bitter or astringent tastes.

To cold brew Sip Herbals, simply follow the standard brewing instructions and instead of using hot water, use room temperature water.

Once you've mixed the water and Sip Herbals, place it in a coffee press and then refrigerate it overnight. In the morning, press the plunger down and pour the cold brew into a glass.

The resulting cold brew is a dark, slightly sweet beverage that's both refreshing and healthy.

What does it taste like? Does it taste like coffee?

Sip Herbals Coffee Substitute is dark, rich, and toasty, earthy,  and nutty. It’s robust flavor softens and sweetens dramatically when you add something creamy! It does NOT taste exactly like coffee. Many think it has a flavor of its own (We tend to agree!). It stands up to milk and cream like coffee does, and it has a complex flavor.
